5 Things you should do before going to sleep

Nowadays it is super important to take actions that help us have a better rest. We usually tend to minimize the importance of getting enough rest, however it is vitally important and has a direct relationship to our health, since during that period of time our body recovers and our immune system strengthens.

That is why we share five tips to improve your nighttime routine.

1. Set a schedule

One of the best decisions you can make is to establish a regular bedtime. Listen to your body and decide what schedules best fit your lifestyle.

2. Drink something hot

Hot drinks help the body relax. Preferably they are made from therapeutic herbs, as they can help the production of serotonin and melatonin in the body. For example: chamomile or lemon balm.

3. Prepare your space

To optimize the space in your bedroom, try to reduce external noise, light and artificial lights from devices. Make sure your space is a quiet, relaxing, clean and pleasant place.

4. Take a relaxing bath

Several studies indicate that it can help improve the overall quality of sleep. You will feel fresh and ready to sleep all night.

5. Stretch

It is extremely important to do a series of stretches, especially if you spend all day in front of a computer, as they improve blood circulation and promote oxygenation.
